Analog

With meters for analog sensors, the raw analog signals are transmitted from the sensor to the measuring device and digitally converted into measured values in the measuring device. These measuring devices are parameter-specific and can only measure oxygen, for example, as an oxygen measuring device.


Digital

Meters for digital sensors receive the measured values in digital form from the connected sensor. The sensor converts the raw signals directly into digital measured values. All parameters can be measured on these measuring devices - the parameter selection only depends on the respective sensor. Analog pH-sensors with S7 plug-head can be connected to these devices using an adapter.
