Stirring platforms for OxiTop® measurement systems to ensure optimal mixing of the samples.

A separate electromagnetic alternating field is generated at each stirring point. Magnetic stir bars that have slipped or become stuck are automatically pulled back to the center of the bottle by the program-controlled alternating fields - thus eliminating measurement errors caused by insufficient oxygen exchange between the aqueous phase and the gas phase.
The stirring platforms can be operated both in a standard thermal cabinet and in a temperature-controlled room.
