These special XPC tubes are specifically designed for use with our ADP450 digital polarimeter incorporating XPC Technology. XPC technology provides rapid Peltier temperature control of the sample without the need for a cumbersome and costly water bath. Being manufactured of stainless steel, the temperature response of the whole system is far superior than that when using a glass tube - XPC Technology.
Importantly, these tubes are able to accept the addition of a sample temperature probe without causing interference with the measurement light beam and so are recommended for use with ADP450 and ADP600 Series polarimeters.
Our polarimeter tubes are manufactured to high quality standards conforming to ICUMSA recommendations and are compatible with most makes of polarimeter. Tube ends are precision ground with windows made from specially selected low strain glass in order to achieve the highest accuracy optical rotation measurement.
