Continuous monitoring in desalination plants, fish farming and corrosive media

Our proven, digital IQ sensors for the continuous monitoring of water quality parameters are also available for use with high salt content. The guideline value for “high salt content” is 500 mg/L chloride. On this page we provide you with all the information on these IQ sensors specifically for corrosive media. Here we are talking about use in seawater or brackish water (e.g. in fish farming or in desalination plants) and in corrosive media in the industrial sector. The following sensors are also suitable and intended for installation in pipes.

Conductivity – conductometric

The **TetraCon^® 700 IQ SW** measures precisely from 10 μS/cm to 500 mS/cm. Its 4-electrode system is insensitive to contamination.

pH and ORP – potentiometric

The **SensoLyt^® 700 IQ SW** offers stable and reliable results thanks to digital processing and an integrated temperature sensor. It is low-maintenance thanks to glass breakage detection and calibration value memory.

Dissolved Oxygen (DO) – optical

The **FDO^® 700 IQ SW** sensors are calibration-free, realiable and insensitive to air bubbles. The **FDO^® 701 IQ SW** pffers a faster response time.

Turbidity – nephelometric

The **VisoTurb^® 700 IQ SW** measures turbidity up to 4000 FNU in accordance with DIN EN ISO 7027. The sensor is equipped with an ultrasonic cleaning system.

Total Suspended Solids (TSS) – scattered light measuring

The **ViSolid^® 700 IQ SW** detects solids by means of scattered light and backscattering. It is equipped with an ultrasonic cleaning system to minimize manual cleaning.
